What is tapping

Emotional Freedom Technique (also known as EFT/Tapping) is one growing bodies termed, Energy Psychologies. The simplest way to describe EFT is acupuncture without needles. The session consists of tapping with your fingertips on specific meridian points whilst focusing on the underlying emotion or trauma.

Suffering with constant anxiety or Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) occurs when a ‘perceived’ threat to our safety is continually detected by the mind’s eye. The mind responds by sending signals to the body, that literally changes our physiology (flight or fight response), leaving us breathless, stressed and overwhelmed. The impact feels ‘real’ and is devastating for the sufferer, leaving them unable to function and essentially destroying their peace of mind.

EFT tells the body it is safe even when the mind is attacking it, thus freeing you from the relentless ‘perceived’ threats. When the body doesn’t respond, the mind can essentially ‘let go’ of the threat and thus rest. EFT helps correct the bio-chemical short-circuiting that occurs with chronic anxiety.

The sessions focus on releasing the stress hormone, Cortisol, from the autonomic nervous system, leaving the client feeling visibly lighter and calmer.

What is Matrix

Re-imprinting?

Matrix Re-imprinting is an advanced version of EFT that combines quantum physics and inner child work.

Matrix Re-imprinting works on the premise that trauma is trapped in the body on an energetic level. In other words, our subconscious mind holds onto memories that are still impacting our current lives, even if we have no re-collection of it. During any trauma, feelings can freeze. This may explain why some people can talk about very traumatic events as if they it happened to someone else. The victim disassociates from the event. These frozen feelings resurface years later causing negative behaviour patterns including anxiety, depression, chronic pain, addiction and eventually disease.

In the Matrix sessions, the client will be able to identify these deep-seated traumas and simulteanously release the strong emotions associated with that experience.

Please Note: None of the above therapies are based on traditional talk therapy and are therefore suitable for children who are unable to express themselves. Additionally, the above therapies do not require re-visiting old traumas should the client not want to. Instead, the therapist works with the ‘feeling’ that the client has. For example, one may feel a deep sadness/anger but can’t pinpoint its source of origin. EFT and Matrix will address the feeling itself and release its continuous impact on the mind and body.
